I’m really excited to announce today that my newest course, Procreate for Beginners, is available! And yep, it’s free! You can check out all the course details (over 2 hours worth!) and sign up right here. If you’re new to Procreate or are just looking to pick up some workflow, tools or technique tips, this course was made for you. I take a slower pace, still describing every step as I go (as with all my courses), so you’ll know exactly what does what and why it does it, too. A few more details about the course as well as the course trailer are below!

Happy Tuesday! This week I wanted to share a tutorial from my most recent online course, 3D Lettering in Procreate. The course takes you through 5 beginner basics projects and gets you comfortable with a bunch of 3D techniques. After that, there are 6 advanced projects that combine those basic techniques while adding on new ones for some extra stunning, pop-off-the-screen outcomes. This week I’m sharing one of the beginner basics techniques: the peeling sticker effect in Procreate. Read on to see it all!

Today I’m excited to announce my newest online course, 3D Lettering in Procreate! This course will walk you through all of the tools, workflow and effects needed to create believable + stunning, pop-off-the-screen dimensional iPad lettering! The course was created with beginners in mind and includes an entire ‘beginner basics’ section to get you comfortable with 3D essentials so you can feel confident heading into the advanced projects later on in the course. No lettering experience is necessary – I share my trick for using existing typefaces if that’s something you’d prefer 😉 The course also comes with ALL of the original Procreate files from the videos, so you’ll have them as reference if you ever need them. Today I’m sharing the course trailer plus additional details, below!

Happy Tuesday! These Tuesdays are my favorite because I get to share a class I love and send it out into the world. Today’s class, Fantastic Flourishes, is no different. Being the obsessed-with-lettering kind of person I am, flourishes have a big place in my heart. If you’ve ever wanted to draw better flourishes, integrate them into letters or create hand lettered layouts with beautiful flourishing, this class was made for you. The class is packed with helpful guides, practice sheets, cheat sheets and more. Get all the details and see the full class trailer below!

Happy Tuesday! Today is one of my favorite kinds of Tuesdays, because I get to share a brand new class with you! I’m not going to lie, this class was a lot of work to prepare and record. There were 3 days where I was up until 5am putting every last detail in, so today, I’m breathing easier. 🙂 If you’ve followed along in past classes like Waterbrush Lettering Essentials and Bounce Lettering, you already have the perfect foundation for this one. Instead of a class focused on how to hand letter, this one is all about using your hand lettering.

Happy Tuesday! I’m so excited I get to bring my newest online class to you this week, Mastering Mockups! In the class, we take original artwork, apply a little photoshop trickery, and put that artwork on products which look convincingly real. This is the perfect sales tool if you’re a seller on Etsy and need better product photography, if you’re a freelancer who wants to impress and convince your client to approve the artwork you created for them, or if you’d like to level up your design portfolio making fictitious projects come to life. You can also use the class’s techniques to create social media posts, blog images, digital product sales pages and more. Your enrollment in the class gets you all 4 base photos used in the class for free. With those photos, you’ll be able to follow along, completing every step as we go 😉

Keeping with tradition, I’m sharing the class trailer today, along with a bonus lesson from the class. In this lesson, we’ll create a single use, social media mockup. Are you ready to mock?! Everything below!

I’m excited to announce my newest Skillshare class, Intro to iPad Lettering! This week I wanted to share the trailer to the class and a bonus video that you would only be able to see if you were enrolled 🙂 This class is perfect for anyone new to lettering using an iPad or anyone on the fence about investing in one. With your enrollment, you’ll learn everything needed to get started and you’ll also receive 3 practice digital lettering guides and a metallic glitter texture to use on any of your future digital lettering. See all the details below!

I’m so excited to announce that my newest class, Intro to Photoshop in partnership with Brit + Co, is officially available! If you’ve ever wanted to learn Photoshop but felt intimidated, weren’t sure where to start, or just couldn’t find a class that taught more than the interface, this class was made just for you 🙂

We cover all of the basics to give you the confidence to begin editing and enhancing photos on your own, and if you’d like to incorporate some design elements, we go over that, too. This is an online class that you can watch at your own pace (stop, pause, play) whenever it’s convenient for you. We go step by step to create this instagram post together (or use for any purpose you’d like!) in quick and easy, digestible steps.. steps that you’ll be able to repeat on your own for any project of yours in the future.

My brand new Skillshare class, Bounce Letters: Adding Character to your Hand Lettering, is officially live! To celebrate its launch, today I wanted to share the trailer for the class, as well as a sneak peek of one of the class videos which you’d only see if you were enrolled. Below the video, I’ve also included links to everything you saw mentioned in the sneak peek if your current lettering supplies could use a few more friends 😉

If you’ve taken Waterbrush Lettering Essentials, this is the perfect follow up class to take your own personal lettering style that much further. In the class, we talk about how bounce is influenced on letter direction, how much exaggeration is *just* enough, the best places to add bounce and not add bounce, as well as some practice words to get you started. Have a peek below for everything covered in the class!

My newest Skillshare class, Watercolor Textures for Graphic Design, went live on Monday, and I’m so excited to share that nearly 1,000 wonderful creatives have already enrolled in the class! Creating watercolor textures from scratch – the act of sitting with a brush in hand, swirling colors together in unique ways – is one of my favorite times to relax and kind of let the art be made without thinking too hard. It’s definitely easy to lose track of time once you get started, but also awesome to then have so many cool new textures to work with. If you’re ever short on ideas on how you can start using those newly created textures, today I’m rounding up a bunch of inspiration with ways to start applying your watercolor textures in graphic design. Read on to see them all!

Happy Tuesday! This week I’m excited to announce my newest Skillshare class, Watercolor Textures for Graphic Design. If you’ve ever wondered how watercolor textures like this and this are created, color enhanced and removed from their backgrounds, this class covers it all! We even finish the class creating seamless, repeatable watercolor texture patterns you’ll be able to apply to any of your Photoshop designs in just a couple of clicks 🙂 As a special gift to blog readers and youtube subscribers, this week I’m sharing the class trailer, as well as one of the videos from the class you wouldn’t otherwise get to see without enrolling. If you’ve never tried Skillshare before, you can watch the full class for free (and any other Skillshare classes for an entire month) using this link. Hope to see you in the class!
