With the holidays fast approaching, Spence and I decided to create a special gift for Every-Tuesday readers this year! Introducing the Winter Watercolor Mini Kit! Below, you can download a kit of winter watercolors as transparent pngs which I painted and Spence enhanced in Photoshop for your holiday needs 🙂 Over the next month and a half, I’ll be sharing tutorials using elements from the mini kit and elements from the full kit available here. Let’s kick this off with a winter watercolor holiday postcard!

Happy Thursday! To celebrate the launch of Mastering Mockups this week, I thought I’d throw in another little extra bonus (did you catch the free lesson from the class in Tuesday’s video?). If you like putting your calligraphy or artwork on stationery, this week’s freebie was made just for you! With just a couple of clicks (full written step-by-step on using the file below!), you can place your artwork on this greeting card, just like in the preview image, in less than a minute! Use this for your own product sell pages or social media posts to get your work noticed quickly – grab the file below!

As we get closer to the end of April, I looked up when Mother’s Day was this year and was surprised to see it’s pretty early – May 8th! Looks like we’re also getting a Friday the 13th in May, which happens to be both my mom’s and my youngest sister’s birthday. I see a lot of card making in my near future 🙂

Speaking of cards – if you’re short on time or want to go DIY this year, here’s your opportunity to take care of things early for an on time mailbox delivery. This week’s freebie is a printable Mother’s Day card with a folded size of 6″x4″ (perfect for any A4 sized envelope). The card is laid out on an 8.5″x11″/A4 sized sheet of paper with all trim marks included so you can print it out at home without any hassle. Download link and preview image below!

I’ve always thought that Valentine’s Day is, by far, the most fun holiday to make (or buy) and send cards for. I mean, what could be better than showering your loved ones with hilarious puns? 😉

If you’re in a pinch this year, I’ve got just the thing to help! Check out these eight adorable, simple, and totally DIY-able Valentine’s Day cards for those of you who love graphic design and/or handlettering.

We are one week into December, which means we have one less week to send out holiday postcards! Since we created some nice holiday assets the last couple of weeks, I wanted to share how you could easily repurpose them for a holiday photo postcard, 3 ways. In this week’s tutorial, we’ll create a print ready holiday photo postcard in Photoshop with a little help from the Glitz + Glam Kit to quickly and easily get your holiday postcards off of your to do list 🙂 The final postcard is sized 7″x5″ and can fit snugly into any A7 sized envelope. Full tutorial, links to recommended online printers, fonts used and past tutorials all listed below!

Thanksgiving is exactly two weeks from today! Seemed about time for a thank you card freebie 😉 Use this hand lettered card for any thankful occasion! Card template can be passed through any home printer on 8.5″x11″ or A4 sized paper. The pdf printable download comes in two (folded) sizes: 7″x5″ (for any A7 envelope) and 6″x4″ (for any A4 sized envelope). Get the download link and see preview images below!

In celebration of my brand new Watercolor Texture Kit Vol. 2, this week I’m giving away 3 watercolor greeting cards! Fill them in and use them for whatever you’d like – they’re any occasion and can be printed using any home printer along with 8.5″x11″ or A4 paper or cardstock. The final cut + printed size is 6″x4″ which fits perfectly into any A4 sized invitation envelope. Trim + score marks are included, so cutting and folding are a cinch 🙂

You know how you see Christmas decorations when it’s only Halloween? I feel kind of like that with sharing a free printable Father’s Day card today. Well, we are less than a month out, so it’s not as crazy as the Christmas in October shenanigans, so I think we’re cool. I gave away the free Mother’s day card two weeks before the holiday and it had such a great response, I felt bad I hadn’t shared it sooner. So! To make sure the option for a free semi-diy Father’s Day card is on the table earlier on, here it is, along with your 3 week notification the holiday is coming 🙂

Can you believe Mother’s Day is next Sunday! NEXT Sunday! Mother’s Day never gets forgotten in my family – My mom was born on Mother’s Day (the year she was born, her birthday – May 13th – was Mother’s Day) and then my youngest sister was also born on May 13th, so she was born on my mom’s birthday AND it was Mother’s Day that year! It was so coincidental the local newspaper wrote an article about us, so we still have the clipping of me at 4 years old sitting on the hospital bed with my brother, my 2 sisters, my dad and mom. My Dad’s dad was born on New Year’s Day and my Mom’s dad was born on Christmas – so it actually gets even crazier, but we’ll save that for another time 😉

Anyway! In celebration of moms, this week’s freebie is a printable hand lettered Mother’s Day card. It’s sized 6″x4″ folded, so it’ll fit in any A4 envelope. Send it out early and get extra points! 🙂

Happy Tuesday! In this final tutorial for the holidays, if you haven’t sent out cards yet, I’ve got you covered 🙂 No need to run to the store – in this tutorial we’ll create a holiday themed printable greeting card using Adobe Illustrator. We’ll create manual trim + score marks so you can print your card easily on your home printer, and design it from scratch in a few short minutes. Let’s get started!

Happy Tuesday! And Happy Veteran’s Day! My father is a veteran (Marines), both of my grandfathers were veterans (both Navy), and my brother is currently an Air Force pilot, so I have lots to be proud of and grateful for today 🙂 Spence and I actually just got back from California visiting my brother, his wife, and my brand new nephew (born in July) who made me an Aunt for the first time. I’ll be posting a few pics soon from our too-short-of-a-trip. With family on the mind and knowing I’ll be seeing my family again soon for the holidays, this week’s freebie is a set of 2 hand lettered holiday invitation printables. Both are sized 5″x7″ and can fit perfectly in any A7 envelope. If you’d like to pick up the greeting postcard editable version of these + 2 more, you can grab them here.
