It’s the last Thursday in May, which means it’s time for your free June 2019 desktop wallpapers! This month’s wallpaper was entirely created in Procreate, with just the dates added in using Photoshop and my font, Miss Magnolia. This month, I wanted to do an explosion of foliage since that’s how it has felt here in Georgia. Everything grows so fast this time of year! All of the lettering + doodles were made using my free Procreate Monoweight Brush (available in the Resource Library). The lettering effect is a variation of my ‘hey beautiful’ project from my 3D Lettering in Procreate course 😉 For the dates, ‘R’ is for Thursday, to distinguish it from a same-sized Tuesday ‘T’ at a glance.

The download includes the June 2019 desktop wallpapers in two common resolutions: 1280x1024px and 1920x1080px, with and without dates. I’ve left the year off of the ‘no-dates’ versions, so you can use it for any June in the future, too!

It’s the last Thursday in May, which means it’s time for your free June 2018 desktop wallpapers! This month’s wallpaper was entirely created in Procreate, with just the dates added in using Photoshop and my font, Miss Magnolia. I decided to use a soft, simple palette this month with some simple foliage doodles. I used my custom monoline procreate brush for all of the foliage, which is available for free in the Every-Tuesday Resource Library. For the dates, ‘R’ is for Thursday, to distinguish it from a same-sized Tuesday ‘T’ at a glance.

It’s the last Thursday in May, which means it’s time for your free June 2017 desktop wallpapers! I’ve been wanting to play with acrylics a bit more lately, so this month’s wallpaper was an experiment of color mixing and texture. I went with a blue/green/teal palette for Father’s Day this month, keeping a balanced mix of all (without getting too muddy) throughout. Let me know if you’d like a tutorial on how I made the paint texture and I’ll put one together 😉 Once created (and dry), I scanned the artwork into the computer, color adjusted in Photoshop, then added the dates using my font, Miss Magnolia.

Happy June next week! May usually feels like such a long month, but this one went a little quicker than usual with all of the planning and prep for my newest Skillshare class, Intro to iPad Lettering (launching June 6th!), as well as a few new digital goodies in the Every-Tuesday shop. I’m also finishing up my next hand drawn script font (SO excited for this one!) which will be available mid-June 🙂

In case your desktop is needing a little freshening up for the month ahead, this week’s freebie is a set of two June desktop wallpapers, with and without dates in two common sizes, 1920 x 1080 + 1280 x 1024. Previews and download link below!
