Can you believe Valentine’s Day is next week?! I thought this week it would be fun to follow it up with a watercolor floral RSVP card in Adobe Illustrator. A few years ago (ok, more like 8) when I started creating templates for others to use online, wedding templates were one of the first kinds I made. I loved putting together a stationery set that felt like it belonged together, but altering each piece slightly to still feel special. I realized – here we are in May, and it has been since 2014 since I created a wedding stationery tutorial. With my new watercolor leaves and florals kit now available, it makes wedding stationery that much easier and quicker to put together (grab a free mini kit below!). In this week’s tutorial, we’ll create a save the date postcard together in Illustrator which will be all ready to print at home, or send off for printing when we’re finished. Piggybacking off of last week’s tutorial, this week we’re creating a holiday postcard in Adobe Illustrator! We’ll be using the free vectors from the holiday vector pack, so be sure to grab those if you haven’t already. Today is extra exciting, because I just released my newest font Espresso Roast, which we’ll be using, as well. It’s a font trio, so you get an all caps version, a script version and a symbols font. It’s full of fun personality and was designed so all styles pair perfectly together 🙂 Read on to see how to create a complex wreath design quickly using a few easy tips!

We are one week into December, which means we have one less week to send out holiday postcards! Since we created some nice holiday assets the last couple of weeks, I wanted to share how you could easily repurpose them for a holiday photo postcard, 3 ways. In this week’s tutorial, we’ll create a print ready holiday photo postcard in Photoshop with a little help from the Glitz + Glam Kit to quickly and easily get your holiday postcards off of your to do list 🙂 The final postcard is sized 7″x5″ and can fit snugly into any A7 sized envelope. Happy Tuesday! And Happy Veteran’s Day! My father is a veteran (Marines), both of my grandfathers were veterans (both Navy), and my brother is currently an Air Force pilot, so I have lots to be proud of and grateful for today 🙂 Spence and I actually just got back from California visiting my brother, his wife, and my brand new nephew (born in July) who made me an Aunt for the first time. I’ll be posting a few pics soon from our too-short-of-a-trip. With family on the mind and knowing I’ll be seeing my family again soon for the holidays, this week’s freebie is a set of 2 hand lettered holiday invitation printables.
