Oh my gosh, you guys. It’s finalllllly done! Today I’m happy to announce the debut of my first ever brush script font, Tuesday Script! I started this font in early December, following the same processes as the font project, but this time in script form, so there were a few adjustments to make sure all the letters flowed and connected properly together. Plus – this font comes with international supported characters so how those were made in the program was another learning experience ๐Ÿ™‚ I took the leap and purchased the pro version of Glyphs (which is not so cheap, but I was able to get a discount by providing them with my itunes receipt from my Glyphs Mini purchase). I’m no expert yet, and when I figure some of the fancier features out, I may create a full class (is that something you’d want?), but for now, I’m celebrating the win of having the font complete and ready for you!

Spencer coded up another text editor, so you can try the full font out below. I’d love to hear what you think!

Give it a try! Pick it up or view more details here ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Yes Teela, this is a beautiful font, I love it and I will definitely buy it! Thanks for all that you share, it’s exciting!

  • First of all, congrats on your first script font! I wish you many many more! It’s really beautiful!
Now, since you asked, the only thing I found lacking- there are not all European glyphs. We use ฤŒ, ฤ†, ลฝ, ฤ in Serbian, Croatian, Slovenian and other Slavic languages. Most modern script fonts don’t have these, unfortunately… ๐Ÿ™

      • Looks great! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Beautiful, congratulations! I am just embarking on the font creation journey myself and trying to find as many tutorials as I can to help me along the way. There aren’t that many – it seems to be a bit of a dark art :). I would enrol in your Glyphs class in a heartbeat – you have such an amazing teaching style. I have a trial version of Glyphs Mini, but I’d love to get your opinion on whether upgrading to the full version is worth it. So far I can see the mini version doesn’t support masters and ligatures are tricky to do? Also you said that the mini version doesn’t support International characters in an earlier tutorial? Thank you for your generosity in sharing – you’re an inspiration!

  • I love you and all your work, HUGE fan.. I’m on your site a couple times a week crossing my fingers that you’ve produced new material or even a new post in between Tuesdays… Keep up the good work and give good ol’ Spence a pat on the back too!

  • Congratulations on creating your first script font! I just bought it and am excited to use it! I love your work!!
You might be interested in talking the folks at Design Cuts in the UK as another avenue to sell your beautiful font (to get wider reach) https://www.designcuts.com/. I am not affiliated with them other than I’ve been following them for a while on Facebook and have purchased packages from them as well as from you. Seems like you’d be an artist that they would want to work with! Good luck and thanks for all your great work! Keep it coming! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I love your new font! That means I love my purchase….all of my Teela purchases. Congratulations!

  • Hi Teela
I purchased your font on monday and i absolutely love it! it’s really awesome! Now i have a small issue: if i use it in the InDesign program it looses it everytime i shut hte computerdown and i have to reinstall it to be able to see it again in InDesign. When i want to reinstall it always says that its already installed and whether i want to replace it and after i click yes it works again and i can normally use it. Do you have any idea what the problem could be? (I have a PC).
And second question: Can i use a heartshaped confetti brush that i created in Photoshop according to your tutorials in my InDesign document? And how?
Thank you som much for your awesome tutorials by the way. I absolutely love them!

  • Super, thank you very much for your immediate answer. I will try it out as soon as possible and if i need further troubleshooting i will come back to you again. The hint for the brush is defenitely gonna help me a lot. The heartshaped confetti brush is for my wedding invitation and its gonna look superawesome together with my vectorised illustrations. i’m very excited about it already.
Thanks a lot! you’re the best!

  • I just found your page a few days ago and am quite exited! So much great inspiration here. This font is beautiful, but as a Dane I am lacking the letters รฆ, รธ and รฅ. Could they be added to this or any future script font? Its hard to find good script fonts including these special nordic letters. Thanks!

  • Damn! This font is AMAZING! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Fabulous tutorials! I’m trying to master hand lettering and I find them super helpful. Also, what a great font – I’ve just purchased it for a new project I’m working on and it looks fabulous! Thank you for sharing your skills with such passion! x

  • Teela I enjoy your work so much! It is so inspiring! Thanks so much for including Spanish characters. Are they available in another font? ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a great day!
