If you’ve been an Every-Tuesday visitor, you know there are a lot of typography loving posts here, like Typins (typography pins) and Text Drive (a purchased version and a free version of a similar font style), but I’ve had yet to create a post series about current fonts that I’m crushing on or putting on my ‘gotta buy it!’ list.
Checking out new and old fonts and lettering styles is something I spend time every week doing, so starting today, Font Crush is going to be a new post series where I share some of my favorites I’ve recently come across. If you’re a self professed letter lover like me, I hope you’ll be just as inspired with this new series. So! Without further ado, here’s Font Crush #1!
Font Crush 01
01. Argon
I love the look of this for cool headlines or photo overlays. Definitely draws some nice attention in a very geometric, modern way.
02. Haste
The handmade edges and the 3 different versions for infinite style arrangements put this one on my list. Really digging some of the type badge styles shown in the previews!
03. Monthoers
If you’re in the market for a display face with texture and tons of character, you’ve gotta check out Monthoers 🙂
04. Local Brewery Script + Sans
Cultivated Mind has always been one of my favorite font makers. Her attention to detail is so beautifully spot on. Lately, I’m loving this monoline script + sans pairing!
05. Thankful Slab
I’ve always been a sucker for a beautiful slab serif and Thankful Slab hits every strong and decorative note for me. Definitely on the list 🙂
