If you’re a list maker, doodler or layout lover, chances are you’re familiar with bullet journaling. Now that we’re in the new year, what better way to kick things off than with a bullet journal weekly planner design?! While bullet journaling is traditionally all hand drawn, this week I want to share my spin on it using Adobe Illustrator. This way, if you’re in need of a quick design, you can reuse work already made and print off layouts in a snap. I’m even giving away some free bullet journal design vectors to make the process even faster! So read on to create a bullet journal weekly planner design in Illustrator! Happy New Year! To celebrate 2019, I thought it’d be fun to ring in the new year with a resolutions checklist in Illustrator, but with a little spin to it 🙂 Instead of just a list of goals – or a list of empty lines staring you down – this one is all about action! Somehow, it’s already the last Thursday in December, which means it’s time for your free January 2017 desktop wallpapers! This month’s wallpaper was created with FineTec watercolors using a small Pentel waterbrush on Astrobrights (Eclipse Black) cardstock. It was then photographed with a DSLR by Spence and brought into Photoshop where he adjusted color + vibrancies. After that, I resized the artwork and added dates within Photoshop, making it ready for use. So, this little guy is a labor of true wallpaper love 🙂  The download includes the wallpapers in two common resolutions: 1280x1024px and 1920x1080px, with and without dates. I’ve left the year off of the ‘no-dates’ versions, so you can use it for any January in the future, too!

Just wanted to post a little note wishing everyone a happy 2015! Our 2015, well.. our Christmas started off a little rocky. On Friday the 19th, our office held its annual Christmas party and we were excited leaving the office that night to begin our holiday vacation (we hardly take any time during the year so we can take extra time for our families during the holidays). The next day (the 20th), Spence and I were planning to hit the road at 4am to tackle the 17 hour road trip to my parents’ house in upstate NY. When we got home, we were greeted by our excited dog, Nuna. She was full of anticipatory wiggles and we played around with her as usual. We went to the bedroom to begin putting our suitcases together, still playing around with her when she went under my feet and I clumsily fell trying to avoid falling right on her or hitting the laundry basket right next to her. I landed directly on the left side of my left hand and Spence and I both heard a big crack/snap as I hit the floor.
