Weāre finishing up this yearās Valentineās Day love series with some floral postage stamps! I released my new set of brush stamps a couple of weeks ago, so I wanted to share a really fun way you can use em š I could draw these little floral stamps all day long 😍Here are a few of my favorites! 💕
It’s almost Valentine’s Day! If you’re creating your own valentines this year or have ever needed a heart shape in the past, then you know it’s not a default shape that comes with Illustrator. With holiday āthank youā card writing winding down and Valentineās Day right around the corner, Iāve been making a tonĀ of trips to the stationery aisle at Target, bouncing back and forth between Valentineās card ideas for my friends. Last year, it was a batch of homemade cards with funny pick-up lines handwritten on them; the year before that, individually selected cards from Paper Source; and the year before that, I actually gave out Valentineās (yes, like the ones youād find in a 3rd grade classroom). This year, with so many of my friends living out of town now (and, therefore, cards needing to be mailed), I thought 2016 would be the perfect opportunity to try my hand at envelope calligraphy!
It might be because ofĀ the Valentine’s season, but for whatever reason, I had this song stuck in my head this past weekend. Before I knew it, I was doodling, so this week’s freebie is a set of hand drawn bows + arrows. AĀ few hand drawn hearts are also thrown in for good measure š
