Happy Tuesday! This week, we’re creating an old school mix tape from scratch, then animating it! This is my most advanced animation tutorial yet – not only will we create a more complex design together, we’ll animated the tape wheels + tape simultaneously using the ping pong option in the animation assist panel. As always, the project color palette (and monoweight brush) are both available for free (also in the Resource Library.

It’s Tuesday! Time for a new tutorial! This week, I’m sharing my method for intertwining elements using layer masking in Procreate. If you’ve already taken Procreate for Beginners and seen the LOOPY project, this tutorial will take your masking skills to the next level 🙂 In this video, we create a bunch of floral elements, then intertwine multiple elements on multiple layers. If you’d like to jump straight to the intertwining method and skip the floral drawing, head to timestamp 10:35 😉 As always, you can grab the color palette for free here or pick it up from the Resource Library

I’ve been teasing a little over on instagram about a big Every-Tuesday announcement, and I’m so excited to announce it today! When I first started Every-Tuesday in October 2013, my sole purpose was to help aspiring designers (formally trained or self taught) find confidence in their work and improve their skills affordably while also making some really cool artwork along the way. Urged by co-workers at my full time job to create video tutorials sharing some of my program tricks, I set my nerves and self doubt aside. I bought a usb mic, some screen recording software, and sat uncomfortably in front of my computer to record my first video tutorial in January of 2014.

It has been a crazy last month for me. I’ve been working some late nights finishing up a new website for a client. With those late nights came plenty of ‘to-do’ lists for the next day/morning/end of day. I’ve got a sketchbook I keep next to my keyboard at work and I think the last 5 pages all have multiple lists on them! So I thought – as long as these lists exist, they might as well look good 🙂 So! This week’s freebie is one very good looking to do list to make all the items on it a little easier to bear. Pdf includes the to do list in 4 different colors: orange, plumb, seafoam and cape cod blue. Each one measures 3.5″x7″ and can be printed with your home printer.
