Draw a Vase of Spring Flowers in Procreate

It’s Tuesday! This week, we’re drawing some spring florals and putting them into a frosted glass vase, all in Procreate! We’ll start by utilizing the symmetry feature in Procreate to make our vase, apply some texture to the glass with a layer mask, add some dimensional and supporting flowers, then finish it all off with some lettering. As always, the color palette is free and we’re using my free monoweight brush for the majority of the design. We also use a default Procreate texture brush for the vase and my Round Marker brush from my Font Lovers brush set for the lettering.

Simple Loose Watercolor Florals in Procreate

It’s Tuesday! I’ve got another fun floral project for you this week to celebrate spring and to take advantage of some of those lockdown hours. Today, we’re creating simple loose watercolor florals, all directly in Procreate. The free color palette is here and the brush we’re using is the Round Paintbrush for Illustration from my Procreate Watercolor Lettering set. This *is* a paid brush to get that watercolor feel, but if you’d like to change up the style, any brush with pressure sensitivity will also work with the full project! This is very beginner friendly, so if you’re new to Procreate or florals, you’ll be able to follow along easily 🙂

It’s the last Thursday in August, which means it’s time for your free September 2019 desktop wallpapers! This month’s wallpaper was entirely created in Procreate, with just the dates added in using Photoshop and my font, Miss Magnolia. For more on Procreate floral doodles, check out my free course, Procreate for Beginners! This month’s lettering was created by using my Signature Marker brush in my Font Lovers Procreate brush set. The doodles are a mix of the signature marker + my free monoweight brush (available in the Resource Library). It’s the last Thursday in May, which means it’s time for your free June 2019 desktop wallpapers! This month’s wallpaper was entirely created in Procreate, with just the dates added in using Photoshop and my font, Miss Magnolia. This month, I wanted to do an explosion of foliage since that’s how it has felt here in Georgia. Everything grows so fast this time of year! All of the lettering + doodles were made using my free Procreate Monoweight Brush (available in the Resource Library). In the US, Mother’s Day falls on May 12th this year. After giving birth to our daughter on December 28th, this will be my first Mother’s Day as a mom! Create Easy Floral Wreaths in Procreate

In celebration of Spring, I thought it would be fun to keep the floral party going into Procreate! The last couple of weeks we painted watercolor florals and this week we’re drawing digital ones 😉 In this week’s tutorial, we’ll plan, customize and create custom floral wreaths in Procreate. I’m using an iPad Pro (12.9″, 256GB), Apple Pencil, Procreate and my custom monoline procreate brush for this (available for free in the resource library). The color palette shown in the video is also available below if you’d like to use it. Let’s get started!
