It’s Tuesday! This week, we’re drawing 3 different types of eucalyptus together 🌿 These are great supporting elements to use in bouquets and they’re all super simple to make 🙂 Even better? We’re using just 4 colors to make them and only one brush (my free monoweight brush). You can grab both of those for free in the Resource Library.

It’s Tuesday! This week, we’re drawing some spring florals and putting them into a frosted glass vase, all in Procreate! We’ll start by utilizing the symmetry feature in Procreate to make our vase, apply some texture to the glass with a layer mask, add some dimensional and supporting flowers, then finish it all off with some lettering. As always, the color palette is free and we’re using my free monoweight brush for the majority of the design. We also use a default Procreate texture brush for the vase and my Round Marker brush from my Font Lovers brush set for the lettering.

It’s Tuesday! I’ve got another fun floral project for you this week to celebrate spring and to take advantage of some of those lockdown hours. Today, we’re creating simple loose watercolor florals, all directly in Procreate. The free color palette is here and the brush we’re using is the Round Paintbrush for Illustration from my Procreate Watercolor Lettering set. This *is* a paid brush to get that watercolor feel, but if you’d like to change up the style, any brush with pressure sensitivity will also work with the full project! This is very beginner friendly, so if you’re new to Procreate or florals, you’ll be able to follow along easily 🙂

This is my most advanced animation tutorial yet – not only will we create a more complex design together, we’ll animated the tape wheels + tape simultaneously using the ping pong option in the animation assist panel. It’s Tuesday! Time for a new tutorial! This week, I’m sharing my method for intertwining elements using layer masking in Procreate. If you’ve already taken Procreate for Beginners and seen the LOOPY project, this tutorial will take your masking skills to the next level 🙂 In this video, we create a bunch of floral elements, then intertwine multiple elements on multiple layers. Welcome to episode 4 of Style Studies! Style Studies is my monthly series where I walk you through a popular hand lettering style and provide free printable and Procreate practice sheets so you can follow along! This month, we’re diving into decorative serif lettering in 4 easy steps with a style I’m calling Party Slab. This style is a heavy slab serif, that lends itself well to extra decoration, like inline details and creative shadows. It’s best used in headlines, set in all caps and has a festive and fun feeling. Read on to grab the practice sheets and create it yourself!

I can’t emphasize enough how much I’ve used what I’m sharing in this episode throughout my career. They may not be the sexiest styles, but they’re the most reliable ones you’ll ever use. As with every episode, printable and Procreate practice sheets are included for free, below. So let’s jump in to how to create serif + sans serif lettering the right way!
It’s the last Thursday in November, which means it’s time for your free December 2019 desktop wallpapers! This month’s wallpaper was entirely created in Procreate, with just the dates added in using Photoshop and my font, Miss Magnolia. I’ve wanted to try a ribbon style lettering wallpaper for awhile and December felt like the perfect month for it! If this is something you’d like to see a tutorial for, leave a comment and I’ll put it on my list! For the dates, ‘R’ is for Thursday, to distinguish it from a same-sized Tuesday ‘T’ at a glance.
The download includes the December 2019 desktop wallpapers in two common resolutions: 1280x1024px and 1920x1080px, with and without dates. I’ve left the year off of the ‘no-dates’ versions, so you can use it for any December in the future, too! If you download these wallpapers often, please read below for an important update about 2020.
