Another Tuesday, another tutorial! In case you missed it, I just released my newest class, Watercolor Florals in Procreate, yesterday! The course covers how to create a variety of different florals and today, I wanted to share one of the first lessons from the class – how to create watercolor floral doodles! You can use the brushes shown in the video or you can use your own brushes if you’d like to change up the style. Use these on stationery, social media or even create a logo out of them. They’re really fun (and easy) to make and you’ll be able to follow along, even if you’re opening Procreate for the very first time.

Happy Tuesday! This week (by request), I’ve got a potted monstera for you! It’s even complete with some textured shading, so if you caught last week’s tutorial, you’re perfectly prepared for this one 😉 Just like last week, we’re using 2 free brushes (my monoweight brush and a default charcoal brush), with the Jittery Ink brush from my Font Lovers Procreate Brush Set being used for some lettering at the end.

It’s Tuesday! Time for another tutorial 😉 This week, by viewer request, I have a full video on how to apply shading to florals! This can really give your illustrations an impressive feel of depth by following a few simple rules. We’re using all free brushes this week (my monoweight brush and a default charcoal brush) and the color palette is free as always. We’re using a lot of layers with this one, keeping them organized by groups as well as incorporating several clipping masks, so it’s a step above beginner for skill level. If you’ve completed this tutorial previously though, you’re in perfect shape for this one!

It’s Tuesday! This week, we’re drawing 3 different types of eucalyptus together 🌿 These are great supporting elements to use in bouquets and they’re all super simple to make 🙂 Even better? We’re using just 4 colors to make them and only one brush (my free monoweight brush). You can grab both of those for free in the Resource Library.

It’s Tuesday! This week, we’re drawing some spring florals and putting them into a frosted glass vase, all in Procreate! We’ll start by utilizing the symmetry feature in Procreate to make our vase, apply some texture to the glass with a layer mask, add some dimensional and supporting flowers, then finish it all off with some lettering. As always, the color palette is free and we’re using my free monoweight brush for the majority of the design. We also use a default Procreate texture brush for the vase and my Round Marker brush from my Font Lovers brush set for the lettering.

It’s Tuesday! I’ve got another fun floral project for you this week to celebrate spring and to take advantage of some of those lockdown hours. Today, we’re creating simple loose watercolor florals, all directly in Procreate. The free color palette is here and the brush we’re using is the Round Paintbrush for Illustration from my Procreate Watercolor Lettering set. This *is* a paid brush to get that watercolor feel, but if you’d like to change up the style, any brush with pressure sensitivity will also work with the full project! This is very beginner friendly, so if you’re new to Procreate or florals, you’ll be able to follow along easily 🙂
